Meet Those Who We Have Helped Heal
This practice, through which I circulate, seeing a number of the practitioners to find remedy for physical pain I have carried for years, is unlike any I have encountered in my 70 plus years. It truly is holistic: the body is treated through a variety of modalities that encompass all the ways it can hold pain and also heal. I have found relief. I have reconnected with old trauma down such hopeful avenues that I feel, with all the support I receive here (at Holistic Physical Therapy and Wellness), I am on a path to finally solving and learning to manage the source of pains deeper even than physical. It’s kind of magic here, and my therapy has given me both practical solutions, and a deep sense of my own power to heal myself. Highly recommended!

This practice has gathered the best of Port Townsend's therapists in PT, OT, Massage and holistic modalities - each has a successful history of treating, valuing and helping clients live and work better, in more comfort and enhanced overall health. Lovely staff and great support clinicians.

I started here (Holistic Physical Therapy and Wellness) soon after receiving a most challenging cancer diagnosis. I decided that I would be open to and seek help from many different sources. My work with them has been most important to me, providing me with a number of things in managing my symptoms and a session here nurtures me. They have supported and contributed to the release of pain. My sessions also give me a deep sense of wholeness, wellness, and peace. I leave with renewed energy and optimism. This has made all the difference in my being able to tolerate my chemotherapy and to move forward in my healing and recovery.

I love receiving sound healing from Amy. She is uncompromising in her attention and listening - to my body - reaching places in me that have been so much in need and that have never ever been touched. She is masterful. Needy places in me are met. I highly recommend her.

I have had the pleasure of working with Samantha Bair-Jones, DPT for several years. A few years ago I tore a muscle while surfing and I had the opportunity to do physical therapy. She was very insightful, was good at teaching me the right exercises to do, and she was skilled at choosing which exercises would help the most. I trust her completely. In addition she helped me with reconditioning both of my knees which suffer from arthritis and general wear and tear. She is intelligent, thoughtful and kind. I recommend her very highly".

Stacia has done exceptional work in helping me effectively recover from a stubborn, painful, slow healing injury. Her knowledge and skill-set combined with her keen intuition have been perfect and effective for me—she’s brought me relief and progressed my body’s healing greatly. She’s also a very good listener in meeting my needs. I’m very happy I found her during this challenging time of maneuvering a very difficult injury.

I started working with Amy at a time of deep personal darkness. I was struggling with depression and debilitating headaches. Her gentle compassion and sturdy insistence/support toward light and healing were central and essential to my healing. Though I was receiving bodywork, nutritional support, chiropractic and doing qi gong and yoga, nothing really made a move toward healing until Amy guided me. I am in remission with both depression ( a lifelong issue) and my headaches have almost completely abated. I am slowly getting my life and energy back.

My treatment experiences with Stacia Givens, OT have been very positive. I am 90 years old and have lived many years with painful and debilitating injuries mostly from accidents that could have been avoided had I been more cautious and concerned with safety precautions. Ms. Givens skillful treatments and effective program of exercises she has designed for me to do on my own improved both my physical and mental sense of well being beyond my hopes and expectations.

I was drawn to them (Holistic Physical Therapy and Wellness) because of their holistic approach to healing. After years of being in pain - emotional and physical, I was able to open up again - to be vulnerable enough to do my piece of the healing work in the time between our visits. They showed me so much love and compassion, I began to love the parts of me I thought were unlovable. Now, when I encounter discomfort of any kind, I instinctively allow the feelings to come up for healing. . All the books I've read over the years needed a visceral component so that I could go to the next level of healing.. I will be forever grateful. They helped change my life.
